COMMUNITY
Woodruff Counseling is proud to call Maryland home. We cheer for the Birds, serve clients from our Towson office, and personally call the Hereford Zone home.
Whether we’re celebrating local traditions, enjoying crabs, or simply being good neighbors, we are honored to give back and stay connected to the community we love. The rolling hills, wooded trails, and Gunpowder River of Hereford inspire our love of nature and our commitment to Nature Informed Therapy.

Community Involvement in Towson & Baltimore County
Maryland Responds
Medical Corps Volunteering
We proudly participate in Maryland Responds by volunteering with the Medical Corps. There is an inherent need for more mental health care and resources. We aim to be a part of that solution and assist where we can.
Taking the Lead
Non-profit in Baltimore County
Taking the Lead is a non-profit in Baltimore County. Their mission is to help those of all abilities to reach their full potential through hippotherapy. Woodruff Counseling is proud to support Taking the Lead and its clients through collaboration and service.
Chesapeake Golden Retriever Club
Animal-Assisted Therapy Support
We are incredibly grateful for the impact that Ellie has had on the work that we do. We recognize the healing powers of animals and the role that they have in therapeutic spaces. We volunteer with the Chesapeake Golden Retriever Club giving back to the community that has supported us.
