Reach out when you are ready

Hello

Welcome

You’re probably wondering about the bicycles. What does a bicycle and a therapist have in common? For me riding a bike is the perfect metaphor for life. Life is filled with cycles such as mood, transitions, rough spots, and exciting opportunities. Learning to ride these cycles requires balance, determination, and resilience much like riding a bike. Most of you are long past your training wheel days. This means you have probably had some falls in life. Falling is a part of life but it looks different for each person; for some it’s a mental illness, family stress, any number of things. The question is when you fall, are you willing to move forward? I’m here to help you regain your balance and control so you can get back to doing the things you love. Let me help you develop tools and skills so you can take your life in the direction you want. Because, at the end of the day I want you to enjoy the ride!

4 Legged Therapist: Ellie is a 3 year old Golden Retriever dog that has been coming to the office since she was 2 years old. When she uses one of her vacation days, many people ask where she is and when she’ll be back. There is significant research on the therapeutic benefits of animals and dogs. I’ve seen first hand, what an asset she can be as a co-therapist. Ellie can sit with you, just be another presence in the room, or take a nap in her crate if you’re not comfortable with dogs.
